Gratitude & the Heart Chakra
Where does gratitude come from?
Do you hear a beat? .. .. .. How Sweet .. .. ..
For gratitude, we must look to the heart chakra. The heart is more than just an organ, it seeks truth - like a little internal lie-detector: detecting the wavelengths of emotion. It knows innately when we’re not being truthful with ourselves or when we’re not being told the truth - that is because it is our center of compassion & love. It yearns to accept & give love. When we experience blockages in this chakra it can lead to stagnation & feelings of guilt, emotional turmoil, heart dis-ease, make us susceptible to upper respiratory infections, and make it difficult to express & feel gratitude or truth.
There are many exercises to balance & clear the heart chakra. We will be touching on this throughout the month of November.
One way to start is by giving. When we give, we set a chain reaction in motion of energy exchange. What we put in, we get back.
As we approach Veteran’s Day I would like to express gratitude to all the men & women who have served in our armed forces to protect this great country from both foreign & domestic threats.
I would especially like to give thanks to Veterans For Child Rescue - an organization we proudly support- a group of dedicated Veterans making a difference here at home.
Veterans for child rescue works jointly with law enforcement to expose child sex trafficking through operations and educational publications. Learn more about www.vets4childrescue.org - gain awareness and learn how to get involved.
