For the Love of Design: "Looking In"

”Looking in” is appropriately named for it's color: Green, our color theme this week. Green, the color of the heart chakra is responsible for love in all forms - self love being one of them.
Looking In emboldens the viewer to go deeper into meditation with complimentary colors and abstract forms.

This design was originally a very tiny 3" x 3" acrylic painting on board, created by yours truly!

I love this painting because it really is a creation from my heart. I began to create a series of these abstract block paintings in tribute to nature abstracted as a symbol of growth, change and the empirical meaning of life.

This painting uses line and form to create suggestions of natural elements, and pops of red, the compliment to green, to create interest and balance. As red relates to the root chakra, the use of these colors together would create a sense of connection between our spiritual self (in the heart) and our physical self (in the root). I love this painting because it makes me feel good.
